When we launched HireHunt, our goal was to develop smart solutions to help the right candidates and employers find each other.
Yet lots of people we talked to, both job-seekers and employers, came with their own baggage and past experiences that pointed to a tragically broken relationship. That time the high caliber candidate who accepted the offer didn’t show up on the first day of work and disappeared. That time when the interviewer used the candidate’s motherhood as a leverage point to negotiate down her offer. That time when none of the 15 scheduled interviews showed up. Good times.
